I have worked in the music industry for over 25 years. After many years of experience as a label manager for RCA/BMG, and marketing manager for Barclay / PolyGram, I moved to London Records in England, where I was lucky enough to see one of my artists - Mojo “Lady hear me tonight” get to number one in the UK single charts. After 10 years working for Universal, more recently as Director of International Developement and then Director of Catalogue and Operations for all Universal labels ( Island, Polydor, Mercury, Barclay … ) , I was appointed Director of the Bureau Export in London (French Music Export Operations), where, under the auspices of the French Foreign Office, I remained for 5 years. In this role I was able to grow and exploit my network of contacts to help promote and spotlight French music and everything “made in France” throughout the British Isles.
After this, I set up my own consultancy firm, Alexine Business Solutions Ltd (ABS) an Anglo-French company named after my dog (of course). A resource for music industry professionals with management & consulting for artists, labels, festivals and publishers. For the last 12 years I have also been setting up and coordinating writing session camps with artists and musicians from all over the world. (UK, France, Taiwan, @ MIDEM, Scotland, Holland), with many successfully charted singles resulting from these.
